organic mulling spices

Organic whole mulling spices make the season come alive with the warming scents of cinnamon and clove filling the home.  They are also shown to support our health and circulation as the colder weather comes.  I can't think of a more delightful way to stay healthy!  This mulling spice blend makes mulling cider or wine easy to do.  For cider just add 2-3 tablespoons to gallon of apple juice/cider in a saucepan over low heat and allow to get hot, stirring occasionally.  Serve hot into cups leaving the spices behind.

I usually reuse the spices by pouring water over them and simmering on the stove as inscense.  It is heavenly and cleans out stale winter air.

Mulled Wine Recipe
1 bottle of dry red or white wine
2-3 Tbsp. T’s Tonics Organic Mulling Spices
2/3 c sugar
½ c. brandy
Mulled or spiced wine has been a European holiday tradition for thousands of years.  It is easy to make and a warming and flavorful way to create holiday cheer.
Pour wine into non-aluminum saucepan and simmer on low, add spices, sugar and brandy and steep, stirring occasionally, until hot.  Serve into festive mugs or glasses as needed leaving spices behind.  Enjoy!
